The Lung Institute

A Patient-First Focus

Patients, their family members and caregivers are the single most important people I am focused on in my professional life. The incredible passion, commitment and effort that we at Regenerative Medicine Solutions (RMS) and Lung Institute (LI) provide our patients, and being advocates for them and their family members, is an honor, a privilege, and most importantly our duty and obligation.

My-whole-way-of-life-is-much-betterLet me state that again, “our duty and obligation is to help patients.” For more than three decades there have been no effective advancements for patients suffering from chronic lung disorders. Thirty years of a growing population of people suffering from one of the most horrendous diseases one can suffer from and there have been no advancements. We are striving to change that. After treating nearly 6,000 patients since we began in 2013, a significant majority offer such uplifting comments such as, “I can now go to church and sing. It is wonderful, My whole way of life is much better, and “For me it is astounding. Comments like these reinforce what we already know, and that is that we are doing something special for our patients.

With these advancements, as with any advancement, there will always be skeptics, scrutiny and questions. We are here to address and answer those questions, meet with our skeptics and not hide behind any facade. We are not afraid to admit we don’t have all the answers, but we are committed to collaborating with great minds in the medical and philanthropic fields to find those answers and move discussion and research forward. We know that pursuing answers and asking more questions will create hope, opportunity, and for some, a new life. We are a patient-first organization, always.

As many readers may have seen, there is a divide between skeptical modern science and advancements in medicine. We are here to mend that divide and create a platform of collaboration, advancement, and most importantly, patient safety, care, effective treatment, positive results, and ultimately, a better life for our patients.

In a confrontational, direct manner, many narrow-minded skeptics have made zero effort to understand our efforts toward patient care, medically-advanced protocols and patient results. They continue to make false claims about us, with no basis or rationalization. They have decided that truthiness is more important than the actual truth, and the result of their actions is so detrimental to our patients, their families and many other patients who could receive treatment at other medical institutions.

Just as it would be inappropriate for me to generalize an entire scientific community, it is inappropriate for others to generalize all stem cell clinics. It is also disrespectful to the thousands of satisfied patients who have received fantastic results from the Lung Institute. Many of these people have been searching for years to find the results they have achieved. I will fight for our patients every hour, minute and second of every day, and challenge anyone who stands in the way of medical progress and advancement.

We are here to invite and welcome the scientific community into our doors. We want you to learn what we do, meet our people and feel the passion and commitment that our patients receive from us every single day.

The-Joint-Commission’s-Gold-Seal-of-ApprovalIn fact, we have started this already. Our clinics with the Lung Institute recently earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for Ambulatory Health Care Accreditation by demonstrating continuous compliance with its nationally-recognized standards. The Gold Seal of Approval® is a symbol of quality reflective of our public commitment to continuous improvement and delivering safe, high quality care.

Andrew Huberman, tenured Professor in the Department of Neurobiology at the Stanford University School of Medicine, along with many other leaders in the scientific community, have taken great pride in what we do. As part of our Scientific Advisory Board, they are working with us to expand the research, patient protocols and future of RMS.

“The ideal situation for any therapeutic setting is one in which patients receive treatments that are based on the latest and best quality science. Stem cells are a relatively new area of study for the scientific community and with some patients unable to wait, there needs to be better collaboration between researchers and clinicians to address clinical application needs of today,” said Dr. Huberman, PhD. “RMS is now bringing scientists, clinicians and members of the wellness community together in order to create a host of new state of the art treatments to improve patients lives.”

It is time for us at Regenerative Medicine Solutions and our clinics at the Lung Institute, as well as all of the other credible stem cell clinics, to stand up and decide who we are and why we are here. We are here for our patients. At Regenerative Medicine Solutions, our choices and our tireless efforts are all focused on serving our patients. We are here to provide hope, help, safety, results and ultimately, a better life.
